I am excited, energized, brimming with thoughts and ideas for turning another chapter in this life!  With a love for reading and learning, I've likely harbored the desire to create and share original thought for many years as have many writers. Germinating, uncertain of the origins, but harkening back to the early days of the internet, I've explored possibilities and avenues to create a web page.  Now is the time...Carpe Diem!

What to write about?  For whom?  And what purpose? Why?

WHAT TO WRITE ABOUT?

I am a healthcare administrator, having reached this profession, by what may seem an unlikely route.  Seen as a whole however, it fits together nicely as I've spent my entire career in healthcare. Along the way, I've read many books, articles, and blogs on career guidance, resume writing, job search, interviewing, salary negotiation, etc.  I have applied principles in pursuing a career and enjoying success as a healthcare administrator for 20 years. I maintain knowledge currency through printed and electronic media on career topics and the issues of modern healthcare management. 

FOR WHOM?  AND WHAT PURPOSE?

My target audience is anyone seeking career information and help in their job search, with an emphasis on medical, hospitals, and healthcare services.  As an Air Force-trained Health Services Administrator and Medical Service Corps officer, I hope to offer information and perspective military individuals will value as they transition to civilian employment and careers. Everyone in the healthcare industry is invited to participate in a dialogue sharing knowledge and insight on the issues of healthcare in the United States and global medicine.

WHY?

I love words, ideas, and self-discovery!  Finding paths, blazing trails, and traveling this route provides knowledge, experience, and advice that others may find helpful and encouraging.
